ndrea Lee, a rising star on the LPGA Tour, is highlighted by her first win in the Portland Classic of 2022. Lee was a winner in all tournaments, and she won 9 matches during her collegiate time at Standford University. She also was able to stay for 17 weeks straight in the top spot of the Women's Amateur World rankings. She won the Mark H. McCormack medal in the year 2019 and was the top-ranked amateur female at the conclusion of the season. The following year, she became a professional. Andrea Lee, born 15 August 1998 in Los Angeles. She started playing golf as a child at age 5 under the tuition by her dad James. As a young girl she started competing in tournaments and in just four years she was awarded 50 Junior championships. Lee was awarded the Mark H. McCormack medal in 2019, after finishing this year with the highest ranking of an amateur. Lee was an amateur of the top who achieved four albatrosses and four holes in one. The first time she played on the LPGA Tour saw her finish with two places in the top 10 spots. She placed 7th in the 2020 AIG Women's Open at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee was able to claim her very first LPGA Tour triumph at the Portland Classic in 2022. Lee devoted her victory to her late father Min, saying he was a champion and believed in my abilities. It was a great honor to have him as a grandfather. I knew that he'd be watching.
